Hi, I’m Aijia! I’m a Psychology PhD candidate and Statistics minor at the University of Missouri, previously a Ross Fellow at Purdue. I study collective action issues at the Social Cognition of Social Change Lab.
I examine different psychological factors (e.g., cognitive heuristics, judgement and decision-making, ideology) that complicate social change across domains (public health, climate change, group inequality). My recent work investigates how collective actions like protests are perceived, and the understudied challenges of sustaining these actions over time.
